Practice on a more industrial environment. Since cities/urban backgrounds are always the hardest are for me to paint, feel like I needed to practice for real.

And no I didn't make up the composition etc by myself, I more or less followed THIS TUTORIAL: <-- that guy has some more tutorials in how to speedpaint backgrounds, truly recommended.

ahh... now I see what makes that stair on the upper picture looks a bit, uh, out of composition ^^; it lacks the left part, which is presents in the picture of the tutorial :) you can try to examine them both to see what's the difference :D hope that helps, since you've helped me so much with your tutorials ^^

how did you get hte textures like that? i've been trying ot make a picture in a style similar to that but i can't get it right. >.<
